Arvada Housing Authority (AHA): https://www.arvadaco.gov/435/Arvada-Housing-Authority; program office 8101 Ralston Road, Arvada, CO 80002, 720-898-7494 (office, not a residence). The page distinguishes portable Housing Choice Vouchers for eligible renters in the private market, project-based vouchers tied to particular units, and Mainstream vouchers for eligible non-elderly people with disabilities experiencing or at risk of homelessness. The authority says it was not accepting applications for any of its Housing Choice Voucher, Mainstream or Project-Based Voucher programs when reviewed 2026-09-28. Check https://www.arvadaco.gov/438/Arvada-Housing-Authority---Housing-Choic and https://www.arvadaco.gov/952/Project-Based-Voucher-Program for changes or call AHA before applying. The project-based program page dates its waiting-list closure to August 1, 2024. A closed AHA voucher waitlist does not prove that a partner property's ordinary leasing path is closed. AHA's https://www.arvadaco.gov/1367/Arvada-Housing-Authority-Annual-Report-2 names completed Marshall Street Landing and Legacy Senior Residence as projects it financially supported. The city's https://www.arvadaco.gov/1155/Affordable-Housing-in-Arvada says the city does not own or manage its income-restricted property inventory; funding, limited-partner status or project-based vouchers do not make AHA the on-site landlord. See the separate https://www.arvadaco.gov/1565/Affordable-Housing-Inventory for the city's broader affordable-housing inventory; those citywide sites are not automatically AHA-owned properties. The report lists Marshall Pointe Apartments at 5170 Marshall Street as planned for October 2027 (260 units), not a current rental opening. It also lists Griffith Station Townhomes as affordable homeownership, not rental housing. Project dates and eligibility should be reconfirmed with the developers. The authority page does not give property-specific criminal-history acceptance rules. Maiker Housing Partners housing guide (reviewed 2026-09-28): Maiker's https://maikerhp.org/housing/#availability lists 17 owned housing-community entries across Adams County, including 1 displayed here in Arvada. Check the individual property site for the latest contact and application route. The page's Power BI availability display changes over time; no opening shown there has been independently confirmed as a currently available unit or as an open waitlist. As reviewed 2026-09-28, Maiker says both its Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) and Project-Based Voucher lottery applications are closed, with no new lottery expected soon. The site's background-check statement (no criminal activity in the preceding 36 months as reported by CBI) and displayed household income thresholds apply to selected voucher-lottery applicants, not automatically to every Maiker-owned apartment. See https://maikerhp.org/housing/#availability. Property-specific felony criteria have not been established. Maiker separately describes Low Income Public Housing one-bedroom units for eligible adults 62+ or people with disabilities and says applications are available Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. This is a different program from the closed voucher lotteries; contact Maiker to confirm which buildings it covers and how to apply. The page also describes Veterans (VASH), Family Unification and existing-voucher Family Self Sufficiency programs, not open public apartment vacancies. Maiker's main office is at 3033 W 71st Avenue, Suite 1000, Westminster, CO 80030, telephone (303) 227-2075 (https://maikerhp.org/contact/). This is an office, not the location of all Maiker homes. Its https://maikerhp.org/about-us/2025-annual-report/ lists Junegrass Phase II as a proposed additional 72 senior homes; these future units are not current rentals.
