WHA WILMINGTON COMMUNITY DIRECTORY — https://whadelaware.org/housing-opportunities/communities, reviewed September 29, 2026. WHA's directory names 17 community pages. Sixteen are retained as unverified public rental-community leads, including an address-free scattered-site group. Its Heald Street page https://whadelaware.org/housing-opportunities/communities/heald-street instead describes six Section 32 townhomes for purchase by income-eligible families; the old rental card has been hidden, not deleted. WHA gives no current rent, vacancy, waitlist status or property-specific conviction-screening decision on these community pages. Confirm eligibility, application route, rent and screening directly with WHA before applying. WHA lists Eastlake Court at 2211 N. Heald Street and the Village of Eastlake at 2412 Thatcher Street as separate directory entries, yet their detail pages repeat the same Village narrative about 160 total townhouses: 70 public-housing/tax-credit rentals and 90 ownership homes. Do not count those totals twice or attribute them to Eastlake Court without WHA clarification. Evans House spans 30, 32 and 34 W. 31st Street; Riverside names 1312 and 1314 E. 24th Street; Madison Gardens supplies an intersection, not a unique building number; and the scattered sites have no single location. These are intentionally not pinned to one entrance. Historical renovation figures on Riverside and other pages are not live vacancy counts. McMullen Square Townhomes https://whadelaware.org/housing-opportunities/mcmullen-square-townhomes is a separate WHA-affiliate (Delaware Affordable Housing Group) market-rate HOMEOWNERSHIP project, not a rental community. The page says the affiliate will build 17 three-story, three-bedroom, 2.5-bath townhomes of roughly 1,767–1,982 square feet with one- or two-car garage options near North Wilmington Library; this is a proposal description, not proof of completed homes or homes currently for sale. Its visible purchase-contact email differs from the linked mailto address; use the official page and ask the organization to confirm the right contact rather than relying on either address. The page's fair-housing statement does not establish any conviction-screening approval.
