CITY OF SAN JOSÉ HOUSING PORTAL SNAPSHOT — https://housing.sanjoseca.gov/listings; downloaded September 29, 2026. This is the City of San José affordable-housing portal (jurisdiction “San Jose”), not a roster of properties owned or managed by the Housing Authority of Santa Clara County. The source page contained 48 active and 46 closed marketing records. Four closed records repeated the same named street address in older marketing campaigns (Palm Court Senior Apartments, Tamien Station Apartments and Parkmoor Community Apartments); the latest record per named property/address yields 90 distinct housing leads: 48 active-marketing and 42 closed-marketing. Both types are shown as source-attributed, unverified, noindex records, with closed campaigns visibly marked as closed. The source's building-total-units field was zero for every record, so it was NOT treated as an actual property capacity. The portal's “Available Units,” “Open Waitlist,” and “Closed Listings” labels describe different marketing states. Older closed records can still retain a nonzero saved unit count: that is not a live vacancy. Active record counts, rents, minimum incomes, age restrictions and application deadlines are dated snapshots; use each linked property page to check the current route and deadline. The portal includes property-entered criminal-background, credit and rental-history criteria on some records, while others say nothing. A background-check statement does not establish that convictions are accepted or rejected; applicants should request current written criteria before paying fees. These listings may be run by independent developers or managers rather than either housing authority.
