The Housing Authority of the City of Anaconda (https://anacondahousing.com/) identifies three income-based public-housing sites, not Section 8 rentals: PJ Hagan Manor, 40 elderly/disabled apartments (https://anacondahousing.com/pj-hagan-manor.shtml); Mount Haggin Homes, 80 family apartments (https://anacondahousing.com/mount-haggin-homes.shtml); and Cedar Park Homes, 50 family apartments (https://anacondahousing.com/cedar-park-homes.shtml). These are published community totals, not counts of available units. HACA separately operates the fair-market Pintlar Apartments, with a different application; 10 Main Street is HACA's office/contact location and is also explicitly listed as Mount Haggin Homes' site, but it is not verified as Pintlar's residential address. The linked packet (https://anacondahousing.com/var/m_b/b2/b20/43994/723133-HACA_Application.pdf?download) must be printed single-sided, completed in blue or black ink, and returned with original signatures in person at 10 Main Street or by mail to Anaconda Housing Authority, P.O. Box 1350, Anaconda, MT 59711. HACA says it cannot accept applications by fax. It requests identity and income documentation, bank statements and other required forms; ask whether applications and each waitlist are presently open. Pintlar has a separate application, so these instructions should not be applied to it. The public-housing packet calls for adult police background checks, landlord references and answers about drug-related or violent criminal activity. It does not give a blanket conviction acceptance decision. The packet also describes a waiting list by needed apartment size, pet approval and security deposits, but current amounts, rent, availability and screening outcomes must be confirmed with HACA.
