LANSING LHC FOUR-COMMUNITY REVIEW — Four LHC official communities reviewed September 30, 2026: Hildebrandt Park (community contact 3122 Turner Street, Lansing MI 48906; phone 517-372-7145; https://lanshc.org/hildebrandt-park-gallery/); LaRoy Froh Townhouses (community contact 2400 Reo Road, Lansing MI 48911; phone 517-393-4290; https://lanshc.org/laroy-froh-townhouses/); Capital City Apartments (community contact 3200 South Washington Ave, Lansing MI 48910; phone 517-580-7505; https://lanshc.org/capital-city-senior-apartments/); Waverly Place Apartments (community contact 3338 N Waverly Rd, Lansing MI 48906; phone 517-318-6311; https://lanshc.org/waverly-place-gallery/). These pages describe mixed-form sites—ranches, townhouses, duplexes and single-family housing; Capital City also describes a five-story mid-rise and off-site east/midtown homes. The listed contact streets are NOT verified entrances for every home, so all four grouped records are unpinned. Their pages give bedroom types and amenities, not total unit counts or live rents. Capital City's 2022 brochure https://lanshc.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/CapitalCity_Brochure_0328202222.pdf adds efficiencies and an elderly preference but no numeric age cutoff; its gallery title omits “senior.” The Waverly gallery links to an unrelated South Washington Park RAD FAQ; the old RAD FAQ schedule is not proof of completed renovations or today's program. LHC's https://lanshc.org/find-housing/ currently displays “All properties are currently full and wait lists are closed,” without an effective date, and https://lanshc.org/liph-faq/ says each community has its own list. Criminal history is considered in general LHC eligibility and suitability, but no site-specific blanket felony outcome or current vacancy is established. Confirm directly with the relevant community before applying.
