SHRA FIVE PUBLIC-HOUSING PROFILES — reviewed September 29, 2026. SHRA's supplied public-housing directory https://www.shra.org/housing-opportunities/ lists exactly five profiles: four in Sacramento (Marina Vista, Alder Grove, Gibson Oaks, William Land Villa) and one in Walnut Grove (Walnut Grove). The City category https://www.shra.org/housing-categories/city-properties/ lists the four Sacramento profiles, the Elderly category https://www.shra.org/housing-categories/elderly-properties/ lists Walnut Grove, and the County category https://www.shra.org/housing-categories/county-properties/ lists no profiles. These category labels do not by themselves establish eligibility, a complete SHRA portfolio, or five available apartments. This Walnut Grove page links 1 unverified source-attributed development profiles; profile project totals and amenities come from PDFs under 2017 SHRA URLs and must not be presented as today's vacancies. SHRA's live public-housing waitlist table https://portal.shra.org/waitinglistportaltest/waitingList displays “APPLY NOW” for Marina Vista (bedrooms 1–5), Alder Grove (bedrooms 1–5) and Walnut Grove (bedroom 3) as of September 29, 2026; each row directs applicants to obtain an access code on site. It also shows generic City Housing and County Housing lists for 4–5 bedrooms; those generic lists do not prove a particular profile has an opening. Gibson Oaks and William Land Villa have no individually named row in the visible table, which is not proof their lists are closed. The separate tenant-based Housing Choice Voucher waitlist is shown as closed; that does not close these public-housing lists. Always recheck application instructions and written screening criteria before applying. SHRA states it does not provide immediate emergency housing or hotel vouchers; for emergency housing it directs people to 211. No listed site has verified conviction-specific approval. Eligibility conflict: the directory's Elderly category https://www.shra.org/housing-categories/elderly-properties/ contains Walnut Grove, but its linked profile https://www.shra.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/public-housing-profiles-walnut-grove.pdf describes eight three-bedroom townhouses and gives no senior-only age requirement. Confirm selection criteria with SHRA rather than advertising it as elderly-only.
