Searching for felon friendly apartments in El Mirage? Explore apartment communities, houses, and other housing options. “Felon friendly” is a search term, not a verified designation. Confirm each property's screening rules; approval is never guaranteed.
Screening practices and applicable requirements can vary by property and location. Ask each housing provider about its current criteria and verify reported policy details directly. For questions about your rights, consider consulting a qualified local housing or legal resource. Approval is never guaranteed.
The Housing Authority of Maricopa County lists Flora Statler and Villa Monte Rosa as affordable rental communities in El Mirage. Check each property's current application and screening criteria before paying a fee.
HAMC's linked 2025 Tenant Selection Plan lists both as project-based rental assistance (PBRA). Flora M. Statler Homes is listed at 14102 N. First Avenue. Villa Monte Rosa spans an address range on North Fifth Avenue in the plan; its property page uses 14001 N. Fifth Avenue as a contact point, not proof that every unit has that number. The authority's directory totals disagree elsewhere on the same page; do not interpret them as local vacancies.
HAMC's 2025 Tenant Selection Plan includes background screening and denial criteria for its PBRA properties. No listed floor plan establishes that someone with a conviction will be approved. Confirm the applicable written policy with the property. Source: https://maricopahousing.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Tenant-Selection-Plan-4.17.2025.pdf .
Ask HAMC or the property about current waitlist status, bedroom size, income limits, actual unit address and rent. A floor plan labeled 'Add to waitlist' is not a confirmed vacant unit. HAMC's general line is 602-744-4500.
