Reported policy summary	BHA's public-housing property page explicitly labels Beckwoods at 100 Beckwoods Drive, near shopping centers and Woodrow Wilson High School. BHA also lists its main office at that same address; the property address identifies the campus, not a confirmed individual apartment entrance. The page does not publish a unit count, rent or vacancy. Public-housing intake varies by bedroom size. Ask BHA whether this particular development is accepting applications and for its written screening policy. BHA's https://www.beckleyha.com/public-housing says its public-housing waiting list is open for two-, three- and four-bedroom units; it does not say one-bedroom intake is open. Its https://www.beckleyha.com/how-to-apply says the separate MOD Rehab list is open and Housing Choice Voucher/Section 8 list is closed. Apply through https://app.beckleyha.com/apply/ApplIntro.aspx or ask BHA at 304-256-1772; its 100 Beckwoods Drive office address is also listed as the Beckwoods property location, not a substitute address for every development. The application page says BHA reviews rental and criminal history at the later interview stage; it gives no blanket felony-acceptance guarantee. A waiting list or inventory count does not establish a currently vacant home. Reviewed September 30, 2026. Source: https://www.beckleyha.com/properties-ph.
