Tlingit-Haida Regional Housing Authority (THRHA) named 3 rental entries in Kake, Alaska on its vacancy page dated June 1, 2026. These source claims are not verified September openings or assurances of screening approval. Multi-unit groups are not a count of individual vacancies.

Local housing information for Kake

Local rental overview

The THRHA June 1 vacancy page lists Kake Elderly Apartments, 101 Gunnuck Avenue, Mosquito and Noseeum Avenue. 2 groups have no numbered residential address in the reviewed source; they are not assigned invented unit addresses. Details below retain each entry’s claimed bedroom size, income category, rent or minimum charge, utilities, senior/tribal conditions and original source link. Rent figures are dated. The authority lists AHFC Section 8 and other vouchers as accepted and describes smoke- and drug-free properties; confirm property-specific terms.

Criminal screening overview

The THRHA general rental packet says violent or drug-related felony convictions cause ineligibility for seven years following conviction; it lists a three-year restriction after drug-related eviction from public or assisted housing and indefinite exclusions for methamphetamine production, specified sex-offender registration and current illegal drug use. It also considers threatening or disruptive histories. These are the general packet’s published terms; do not assume they apply unchanged to separately administered Fireweed Place or Harbor Inn. Ask each operator for current written criteria and an individual determination.

Application tips

THRHA links its general rental application packet from the Kake entries; a complete application enters a waitlist, not an automatic offer. The packet asks for identification, Social Security cards, income documentation, tribal enrollment when the unit requires it, and any applicable voucher paperwork. Check whether a unit remains open and request current written eligibility criteria directly from the operator. THRHA’s 5446 Jenkins Drive, Juneau address is its office, not a rental at this community.
