Reported policy summary	Buffalo Municipal Housing Authority's Facilities directory lists Scattered Sites under “Family Developments” at 245 Elmwood Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14204. The detail page says BMHA has individual units in various areas of Buffalo and amenities differ from one unit to another. This is a citywide scattered-site group, not an apartment building at 245 Elmwood Avenue. The same directory lists Stuyvesant Apartments at 245 Elmwood Avenue but ZIP 14222; the scattered-sites card prints ZIP 14204. BMHA has also identified 245 Elmwood as its Housing Assistance Office. Ask the authority for the specific rental address and intake process; the reference ZIP is not assigned as a residence ZIP. This record is a group or contact lead; its directory reference is not assigned as the street address of a verified single residence. The directory's “Availability” widget is a reservation calendar, not a live apartment-vacancy or housing-waitlist report. The page does not establish a current opening, rent, guaranteed eligibility or conviction-specific screening outcome. Ask BMHA or the current property manager about exact residence, unit type, application process and screening.
