Reported policy summary	Buffalo Municipal Housing Authority's Facilities directory lists Commodore Perry Homes under “Family Developments” at 386 Perry Street, Buffalo, NY 14204. The directory's older card describes one- through five-bedroom housing near downtown Perry Street, some accessible units and onsite agency assistance. A July 2025 state announcement hosted by BMHA (https://www.bmhahousing.com/DocumentCenter/View/1722/gov-press-release-Perry-move-in-7-1-25) says new Perry Homes I had welcomed first residents and that its planned 405 apartments in 27 newly constructed buildings replace the old Commodore Perry public-housing development. The old card's Perry Street reference must not be read as a present opening in an original building or confused with a separate new Perry Homes I listing. Confirm which buildings and applications are active. This record is a group or contact lead; its directory reference is not assigned as the street address of a verified single residence. The directory's “Availability” widget is a reservation calendar, not a live apartment-vacancy or housing-waitlist report. The page does not establish a current opening, rent, guaranteed eligibility or conviction-specific screening outcome. Ask BMHA or the current property manager about exact residence, unit type, application process and screening.
